Immunity Smootie



This immune boosting smoothie has some of my fave gut friendly ingredients, like ginger, lemon and avocado. It's creamy, slightly sweet and loaded with immune boosting nutrients.


The ingredient that really ramps up this smoothies immune boosting power is Camu Camu, an Amazonian superfood.


Just 1 tsp of camu camu powder can provide over 600 mg of vitamin C! That's 30-60x more than an orange!


Eating antioxidant rich foods with micronutrients that boost immune function is more important than ever, as we try to stay healthy during these chaotic times.

What you'll need:

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 2 tsp camu camu powder

  • 1 green apple

  • 1 TBSP ginger

  • 1 whole lemon, peeled

  • 1 orange or grapefruit

  • 1 cup kale or spinach

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • ice cubes


How it goes down:

  1. In a high speed blender, combine all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
